What we provide

TIPSA OCN Level 2 Drugs and Alcohol course

As part of funding recieved under the Hidden Harm initiative from the Public Health Agency, we are running an OCN level 2 course that is open to inidividuals who live, work or go to school in the Mid-Ulster area. This course will take place over three Saturdays in December and will be FREE to participants.

However those who sign up to take part and gain the qualification have to commit to attending 2 of the Monday night drop-ins between January and March as a volunteer. TIPSA, Teenagers Involved in Protecting Selves around Alcohol.

The main aim of the project is to provide Alcohol - Drugs Awareness information to Teenagers and their Parents within the Cookstown and Magherafelt District Council areas. We will also provide training for those working with young people within this area.

We provide Alcohol - Drugs Awareness Education in the form of:

Alcohol / Drugs Information Sessional Programmes


Parents Information Sessions


"Talk to Them" Parents Programme


Alcohol / Drugs Awareness Education Programmes for Teenagers

A new series of Courses for parents or adults working with young people will also be run by TIPSA in the coming months.

Where possible, TIPSA shall meet the costs of the event.
